Law Enforcement Agencies are now deploying or are in the process of issuing carbine rifles to both Field Supervisors, Field Officers, and Tactical Units. With that comes the need of having qualified Armorers or Rangemasters to service and maintain these weapons on a regular basis, as well as teach officers in the employment and use of these firearms.

This course covers all M16/AR-15 weapons systems made by all manufacturers.

Instructor/Armorers will be certified to teach other peace officers in all aspects of the use and care of these weapon systems. This program follows the Manufacturer's guidelines and is taught by FBI and NRA Certified Instructors. Note: It is highly recommended that all students interested in this course already be certified as a Basic LE Firearms Instructor, as well as have received Instructor Development Training. This is because the Instructor portion of this course focuses on teaching the rifle rather than basic markmanship and lesson plan development.

The Law Enforcement Basic Handgun/Carbine-Rifle Instructor course is 50-hours in length and is designed to teach Instructor Candidates the proper methods of instructing students in Law Enforcement applications of handgun and carbine rifle employment. This course also discusses legal issues, use of force or department policies. This course is designed to greatly increase the candidates' shooting and teaching ability.

The candidates will correct problems of students that will be provided for a "real" training setting. Included in the course will be instruction on how to teach a low light/night fire course.

Firearms safety as it pertains to Law Enforcement applications and employment including:

• Firing
• Stance
• Grip
• Sight alignment
• Trigger press
• Speed reloading
• Tactical reloading and stoppage drills
• Rapid multiple shots on single targets
• Rapid engagement of multiple targets
• Engagement of targets from the ready position.
• The draw from duty equipment
• The concealed draw
• The proper tactical response to single or multiple opponent situations.
• Contact distance employment of the handgun
• Moving to the rear and laterally while drawing and shooting
• Rapid assumption of various shooting positions such as kneeling and prone which will allow the shooter to gain more accuracy and protect themselves from being injured, use of cover, and pivots and turns.
• A low light session will be included.

Lectures cover:

The Law Enforcement Sub-Machinegun Instructor Course is 40-hours in length. This course is for Law Enforcement Agencies who are currently or are planning on using a Sub-Machine Gun with their agency, and need to have Instructors on staff.

This is a train-the-trainers course that will cover all aspects of the Law Enforcement Sub-Machinegun. Instructors will be taught how to set up and implement and maintain a Sub-Machinegun Program in their agency, detailed maintenance, ballistics, and tactics will be covered in great length.

This course covers the following weapons systems (but not limited to): MP5, UMP, and AR15/M16 SMG type weaponos systems (Others brands Are welcome).
