Day-1 starts out with lecture. From there it moves right into all hands on training in a full spectrum of defensive tools. The improvised weapons is a must for anyone who travels to places where they might not have access to their normal carry firearm.
On day-2 of the course we will be doing some scenario based training where students will be tasked to deal with a bad guy or guys, and have to make force option decision, apply them, then justify their perceptions and actions. The scenario based training session will allow all students to apply the different force options, and there will be some simunition work involved as well. The justification stage is to help attendees prepare for the aftermath of legal issues and justify their actions. Students just need to show up, no use of force weapons are needed, as we will provide all the force options and tools. If students have a fighting knife of some sort, a good folder would suffice, then please bring it for the knife session, if you do not have one we will provide one.
