Prerequisites: Urban Tactics-1 (The Urban Vehicle Ops course integrates and starts from where the Urban Tactics courses leave off), and Handgun or Tactical Pistol (Within the last 36 months)
Tac Carbine or Carbine-1 (Within the last 36 months, if not - you will only be allowed to train with a pistol so plan for ammo)
This course is 2-days of hands on training of techniques and tactics. You will be working from and around vehicles so be prepared for a hands on session from and around vehicles. It is recommended that you bring a vehicle to work from, this gets you familiar with your vehicle and how to set up your gear, you may share vehicles so plan ahead. This course is based on tactics that work well with handgun and shoulder weapons. You will be working in close confined areas with others, so the weapon handling standards are tight.
Everyone will be working with a handgun, note there is a Handgun Course Alumnus standard. If you meet the carbine prerequisites, then you are welcome and encouraged to train with such, otherwise you will only be allowed to train with a handgun.
