1911 Handgun Armoring One Day
The course covers the 1911 series type handguns. All students will have the opportunity to inspect their handguns and make any repairs/corrections in class to insure that it is in top working order. This is a hands-on class that will entail custom fitting of parts, so expect to be doing lots of hands on work.
Bolt Action Sniper Rifle Armorer Course
This course covers Remington 700, Savage 10/110, Winchester/FN 70
series, Tikka, Sako and Ruger, as this is what we have tooling in class
for. Officers are welcome to bring other brands and models like Steyr,
Bergara, Sig Sauer, CZ, and custom builds, as we can cover them. This is a hands on class that will entail bedding actions, and truing/lapping scope rings to maximize the performance of the rifle and optic.
Law Enforcement Handgun/Carbine Rifle Instructor Course
The Law Enforcement Handgun/CarbineRifle Instructor course is 50-hours in length and is designed to teach Instructor Candidates the proper methods of instructing students in Law Enforcement applications of handgun and carbine rifle employment. This course also discusses legal issues, use of force or department policies. This course is designed to greatly increase the candidates' shooting and teaching ability.
AR15/M16/M4/AR308 Armorer Course/Patrol Rifle Instructor (LE Only)
Law Enforcement Agencies are now deploying or are in the process of
issuing carbine rifles to both Field Supervisors, Field Officers, and
Tactical Units. With that comes the need of having qualified Armorers or
Rangemasters to service and maintain these weapons on a regular basis,
as well as teach officers in the employment and use of these firearms.
This course covers all M16/AR-15 weapons systems made by all manufacturers.
This course is 5 days. The first two days cover Armoring and the last three days cover the Instructor Portion.
Patrol Rifle Instructor/Armorers will be certified to teach other peace officers
in all aspects of the use and care of these weapon systems. This program
follows the Manufacturer's guidelines and is taught by FBI and NRA
Certified Instructors.
