This course will certify students as Instructors in Handgun and Carbine-Rifle, who will be able to implement firearms training and qualification courses. This course is 50-hours in length and is designed to teach Instructor Candidates the proper methods of instructing students in Law Enforcement applications of Handgun and Carbine Rifle. This course also discusses legal issues, use of force or department policies. This course is designed to greatly increase the candidates' shooting and teaching ability.
At the end of this course, the Instructor Candidates will be able to effectively present material to shooters and will be able to coach the individual shooter to a higher standard. Instructors will be able to identify errors not seen before and will be able to correct those errors quickly and effectively. Techniques will be explained in a depth not experienced before and all techniques will be linked into a coherent system of firearms usage.
